Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yeah - Definitely a white saddle.... definitely.

Dunno - that's a vintage saddle I got from a LBS owner that was clearing out his "junk". He also had a white one with raised embroidery that currently sits on my Merckx.

I like "FREE"....

I don't know how you ended up with this bike but you should have gone with a Roubaix. You've got the bar raised up so high it defeats the purpose of buying a race bike. You either insisted on a Tarmac or you had a real bad sales person.

Huh? White bar tape? Serotta? ...oh, yeah, yeah, I see it now, sorry. I guess there *is* something partially obscuring that photo of a gorgeous Sachs.

white tape is to cycling as "wearing fresh" is to hip hop.
all about showing off that you can afford the upkeep.
i have to admit, on the right bike it looks awesome, just never let it get dirty.

That is one RAD bike. Do you have any pix of it in front of a white garage door? The wood background takes away from it's RAD-ness. Reminds me of a Forumla 1 race car.
