1990 LeMond TVT Team Z bike, full Dura Ace build / 58cm
SOLD
Very clean 1990 LeMond TVT with all original decals intact and in good condition. No fading on the paint and only a few nicks. Serial number reads 131289106, which I believe indicates this was built Dec 13, 1989 (Euro reverses day/month). Bottom bracket shell is stamped "TVT 58B". The bike's seat tube measures 58cm center-center, with a 57cm center-center top tube. Regal saddle is scuffed at back, but has many miles left on it. Rims are Mavic Open Pro.
This bike sports a full Dura Ace build, including:
Headset
Stem
Seatpost
Front/Rear Hubs
Brake Calipers
Brake Levers (with NOS white Dura Ace hoods)
Crankset
Bottom Bracket
Front Derailleur
Rear Derailleur

Not many C&V bikes can be called exotic and significant. This one is both.

Wow. WOW. Wow. Dang, if I wasn't in the middle of a "I have too many bikes and I have to stop buying them" phase, I'd be all over this.

If loving this bike is wrong, I don’t want to be right!
I’m almost getting to the point of paring down the fleet enough that this becomes a keeper! I had my finger on the trigger for a donor bike with C-Record/Deltas. Maybe another will come around.

LOL! Great, now I have that song stuck in my head...
Hmm... The DA group on the bike sure is clean and would probably be the best group for the bike if someone is to actually ride the bike, but for the sake of uber-cool retro restoration, a full Campy group set would incredible. Maybe buy a Greg LeMond look-alike mannequin to put on the bike to make it complete

Did you get what you were asking for? I'm still dreaming about this bike Now that the Tour de France is "virtual" on Zwift, one could ride this bike on a trainer and pretend to be Greg LeMond!
