Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

judging by your expression that probably wasn't your first beer that night. Unless you were mugging for the camera. Let's go with that.

what is strange for me is the difference between the sunrise and sunset in Northern locations and Southern ones. Of course where I live now is also further west than in PA. The longest day in Sharpsville would have light until about 9:30 and light in the morning would be evident before 6 AM. On the longest day here it is light until about 9. Also the sunset is nearly the same from late November until Christmas. It also stays light out an hour longer. I hated winter up north for many reasons and the early sunset was one of them.

I've got the old Inductrix FPV. There was quite a large aftermarket source of upgrades back a few years ago. I think that the modified original Inductrix became known as the "Tiny Whoop". They all use 6mm diameter brushed motors.

I was informed at the hobby store that FPV multirotors are no longer all that popular. I was surprised since man they were everywhere.

This is the one I have:

I miss hobby stores!

It's always interesting to check what we call drugs vs what actually are drugs.

The Jets are just too sad to watch. Darnold sucks, always has, and I never knew what they saw in him. Pathetic.

I think they have the worst coach in the league, so that can't help. He'll go be a backup somewhere and have a really good life.

Not really. I have nothing against them, and turning it around gives me reason to hope my Giants can approach respectability again.

And it will be funny to see the pundits squirming after everyone predicted the Titans would expose the Browns as illusory.

Some action at the Evanston roundhouse! This sweet little switcher was rotting away in a park, but now tucked in at the roundhouse. I'm not sure what railroad it operated on, doesn't seem to be from the UP roster.

A-ha. Looks like the road number was actually 4420, some weedheads must've painted over the leading 4 as a joke
