Just like to ask how many people out there use the system Training Peaks to track their training. As well you may use it if you are being coached as well.

I have the basic version. But how many of you out there with Training Peaks have upgrade to Premium. I know its a much more yearly cost. But i like to ask was it worth the extra expense for the extra features you get?

Thanks

I use the free version and like it well enough. I don't really "track my training" with it, mostly just use it for a record of what I did. Helpful in the future.

Yes, I track and plan my training with it, and I find it to be very valuable, in conjunction with a powermeter & wko+. I'm being coached informally now, and will have a formal coach next season. My coach-to-be uses T.P.

Best feature is ability to put in future workouts and see how they will affect your TSB.

HOw long do you think its best to stick with a coach. I been using a coach since begin of July and seen amazing results. I would love to follow through all way for a year. as being given workouts is amazing discipline for me

Depends on your goals and budget, I don't think anyone can answer that for you.

I am considering upgrading membership as well on TP and using the virtual coach etc. to plan my base season for next years racing. Seems like the most cost effective approach if I can't afford a real coach

I got a free TP training program, some sort of bennie, I don't remember quite what. 12 weeks. It was very good; introduced me to some new things I liked. Anyway, they got 'em for sale.

I use the free version and download my GPS ride data to it. I've only been using it since April, so I haven't experimented with it too much, but I like the features and I'm a sucker for graphs.

No WKO+ for macs. I just cant fork over the money they want for TP. Also haven't been able to find a real alternative which is why a lot of people probably pay it. I'm using Rubitrack which is a great tracking tool but doesn't have what TP offers afaik.
