A few parts for the Voyageur's refit. Suntour VGT-Luxe derailleur to replace the original lower-end Suntour XC-E (will run the Suntour bar-ends in friction mode), a Shimano hyperglide cassette, new chain, and cables. I'm having a weird feeling of deja vu that I've posted this before. Strange.

I negotiated a set of Gravel king EXT's from an ebay seller, for his original sale price, a couple hours after he jacked his prices up to well over the msrp. He said no more where coming so they where going to be rare, ect,ect.. I try and put off buying tires untill the bike is ready for them, or their real cheap. Fear being a bit contagious I figured I should buy what I think I'll need this year, while their on sale now, verses risk haveing to buy at full mrsp or more as the economy finds its new normal.

For what it worth I'm also buying a couple pairs of sneakers , because it will be a bummer if I cant find any 12 4E New Balance's in the post apocalypse world.

I use air brushes mostly for small restoration projects. I upping my game as I want to take on the paint touch up of the 3Rensho project, my current single action setup has been tweaked to cover larger areas, about half the spray pattern of a rattle can. The new double action setup will shoot anything from a pencil line to about an inch in diameter, that gives me enough control to patch and blend repair areas. If I screw it up expect to see the 3Rensho in black powder coat...
Some of the stuff I have done is antique tool restoration, Like this Yankee No. 445 2 speed hand drill from 1915 or so, unique because it takes auger type drill bits like a hand brace, it does not have a normal drill chuck.
This drill is a Caterpillar homage because I work there, the only paint on it is the gear wheel and yes its early Caterpillar yellow, the wood is finished with teak oil.

Mike, nice work! Wish I still had my old airbrush set up from my modeling days. It would be an antique, I would sell it and buy something better!

A pair of Panaracer Race C Evo 4 tires that will go on mrs non-fixie's RIH, a pair of 25mm Paselas for whatever it is that I'll need those for and a couple of big Zιfal bottles for when it's hot and we want to ride a bike with just one bottle cage.

Tube of grease, 5 clutch springs and collars to to fit. Read somewhere a weakened clutch spring can cause middle gear to jump.

I've been lusting after these cranks for years. Was planning to pull the trigger this year anyway, but the amount we've cut back on spending recently made it easier to justify now:

(The box and instructions are a little ratty because the crank has already been in and out a few times to marvel at it. They're so light, so well-made, beautifully polished, I could go on and on. )

It was either those or my 7703 above for the upcoming bike. Decided to save a bit of cash
