Been a bad spring for my water bottle stash (dropped, cracked, left behind, etc), so I ordered a couple basic Specialized bottles from eBay, one red, one blue.

Something from France...
As I have to run off to a few appointments, I'll open my early Canada Day present later today.

New shoes from magliamo.be, or as my wife occasionally refers to them, "ballet slippers."

A rear wheel that takes a threaded freewheel, and a cassette that needed a freehub.

Nothing as it's Canada Day. Wheels for a fellow forum member are waiting in a postal outlet from June 29 but Canada Post never bothered to notify me they were there awaiting pick up. I could have got them then. Ah well I guess I'll get them tomorrow.

Cheers

NOS (in sealed factory packaging) Shimano Dura-Ace ST-7700-C (9-speed Flight Deck) hoods for my brake/shift levers. Expensive but cheaper than buying new levers.

If one man's junk is another man's jewelry, then "Bling-Bling" is my middle name.

I have no idea what to do with the Valentinos, but both of the Gran Sports appear on cursory inspection to be salvageable.

1983 Serotta Club Special, full Super Record. Frame is too large even for me, so it'll find a new home. Group is earmarked for my '81 Trek 957.

With receipt of a new set of folding 700c Paselas (for under $48 shipped ), today marks the first time I've had all the bikes with at least 25mm wide tires ... and the first time I mounted 28c tires on my own road bike.

Thanks. And yes a reproduction. There no brand or company name attached to it. Seller has 2 more in-stock if anyone is interested.

5 Park Tool cone wrenches: 13mm-17mm to add to the RV bike tool set...like brand new and less than wholesale...and, oh, yeah, the most used sizes...

These changed styles quite a bit over the years...someday I’ll go through the boxes, etc and take representative pictures...

xiaoman1 Yes all 700x25. The Giro, Gios and Tommasini will all get fresh tires. Those current on the bike will move to the Miele and Bottecchia.

Piasentin Super Vitus 971 frame from Lancey France

Not quite! The box contained a new-to-me Super Vitus 971 frame along with a Stonglight headset, TA bottom bracket and a J.P. Routens (JPR) seatpost. The frame is branded Piasentin, but the only real information about the company I could glean is that it's a bike store located in Lancey, close to Grenoble. I have no idea who made the frame, but it's of really good quality. It's also very light for steel and a bargain for $100.

That frameset is georgeous at 3x the price. When we know more about Piasentin, 5 x the price.
