Ya thats why I want to try and start with some sort of cool down and slowly back off until I don't need one. I used to run when I only had 45 minutes to workout, but clearly it is possible to do beneficial training in such a short time period.

Keep in mind that since you changed two things, it could be either or both of them: warm up or cool down.

I think this is the first time sharing one of my workouts has caused an injury I hope it doesn't linger.

Nah it seems to be getting better already (I can walk!). Since it didn't hurt at all on the bike, i think I should be fine to ride.

No injury to me, but I snapped my down tube last winter after reading your comments on sprint technique.

Finished my little ride today. I'm still rebuilding so nothing too extreme. But I have always been a practitioner of short intense workouts. This workout has more endurance than SST due to the Microburst sets. Short, sweet and intense = perfect.

I try to get in at least 1 long ride in on the weekends, but I would like to do more during the week.
I'm probably going to get one of these MagicShines. I've read so many rave reviews here on BF and other forums that it seems like the best option:

I get pain in the area you're describing if I don't warm up, though I've never had it hurt when I get off my bike, usually just for the first 20 minutes of my ride or so. Even just a couple minutes of light spinning at the start of your ride should solve the problem.
