I was really close to contacting Non-Fixie recently. I'll be visiting my daughter in Antwerp next weekend. The trip to Holland just couldn't be finessed. Maybe in the next 18 months.

Same here.
My wife and boys are traveling extensively in Europe this summer, including Belgium.
I just can't pull off the time this year, but I would definitely love to visit with him at some point.
He has some of my favorite posts!!!

Funny thing is though, He unwittingly bought something from me last year. When he sent me pictures of it being installed I recognized his orange bike!

He’s kind of a stiff. Met him in Moscow in 1989.

Thanks for the props bikemig and Dfrost - I'd love to meet you too!
@gugie speaks truth and many have made good points here as well. I don't think there is a BFer I wouldn't want to meet. I've had the privilege of meeting many already (mostly through the Cino) and I am looking forward to meeting more in the future! Kids and work keep me pretty tied down during the school year, but hopefully summer will allow some more meetings (if starting work at a LBS doesn't get in the way!).

I've tried to coax @randyjawa south of the border a couple times. Might be too warm for him down here, though.

There are many here I’d love to meet. Lately I’m thinking of the Oregon crowd.
Lucky for me I live in a frequently visited area, so I’ve met many folks on BF already.
I’m thinking of hosting a 100 km ride in the NY Hudson River Valley this summer...

There is some great riding on both sides of the Hudson. That is some of the finest countryside I've ever cycled in.

Pick a date in Aug or Sept and I will ride the Munger Trail. Have not done that in about ten years and about time I did it again. Gotta stop at Third Base. though, for a draft beer and some spicy fries.
Might drag a friend along also.

I'd like to meet oddjob2 so we could finally argue about how much old Fuji Club bikes are worth in person. Then TMar to find out if he's for real. My concept for a Continental US Bike Forum meet up would have to be in Denver Colorado. Equal distance from both coast, great airport, lots of places to ride. I'm up for rides with anybody visiting my home town of Fernandina Beach Florida. Will also entertain rides around Stone Mountain in Georgia (if I'm in town). Love, ramzilla

I met Bertinjim, very useful fellow to know. He has saved me a few bucks and was very knowledgeable about old bikes especially old French bikes.
I also met, sat for hours with, T-Mar! Before I met him I was told he was alternatively an engineer from the Skunk Works, an ex-CIA man who was with Project Phoenix (someone actually said that!) and I can't recall the 3rd option. He thought it was kind of funny and pointed out that there were enough people on here who knew he was real. I was awed by what he knows. No matter how obscure the question the knowledge was in his head and he didn't need to look it up.

Funny you should mention her, there is a thread in 50+, seeking out long lost members there Anyone hear from Stapfam. I did a Mention of East Hill in that particular discussion, she got the email notification of a mention, and a link to the thread, voila', she replied and said hello to us. Nice to hear from her, and it also got Beverly to prairie dawg and reply.

On more than one occasion the invite has been offered and each time life got in the way. In August or early September, I will be free to ride with. During part of every summer, my kids, grand kids and soon great grand kid come to our lake cottage to spend time with Nana (Mrs. Me) and Papa (me). That ends the first weekend in August, after Sports Weekend. So...
Pick a date in Aug or Sept and I will ride the Munger Trail. Have not done that in about ten years and about time I did it again. Gotta stop at Third Base. though, for a draft beer and some spicy fries.

Or, wait until you come back to Pennsylvania for your annual visit, and sneak it in that way! It was great meeting you at French Fender Day last year.

I have met 3 so far all in the PNW and all with excellent taste in bikes (@Dfrost, @gugie @The Thin Man) before I cast my net wider I would like to meet more folks in the 206/360/425, the 503 and the 509 before I start heading east. Now that I have actually started off the year with a ride in April (Tour De Lopez) maybe I can take advantage of some ride opportunities in 2019 and meet more folks on Cool bikes.
Lots of bikes on The TdL but a dearth of old steel, the only vintage steel I saw, other than my own, was an early 80s Fuji Supreme on the way back to the parking lot and a couple Rivs on the ride.
