heres goes.... A SHOT IN THE DARK
Hello. This tricycle was given to me by an older member of the family. I ha e to keep it forever. I have no idea where to begin with it. I will have to have it totally overhauled. I have looked but cannot find these numbers anywhere! Can yall tell me anything about this lil hot mess? EDIT, I am new and I'm not allowed to post images until I've had 10 posts. I'm taking a shot in the dark. There are some numbers stamped on this bike. I cannot find anything on these numbers. PLEASE HELP.... they are, on two rows

It seems the OP is trying to get information about an old tricycle.
(08/18 0823)When I posted this yesterday the OP's text was not showing, although the post seemed to have dozens of views.

+1 on Ted Williams.
The 228-45912 on the head tube is a Sears product number. The other number is the frame manufacturers serial number.
This frame looks repainted.
Here is another Sears adult tricycle.
