Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

This is my second pair of white shoes. So, do you think that it's any coincidence that the guys with the white shoes are also the ones most invested in clean drivetrains via waxing?

Still waiting to hear on another 7- not sure which. Vassar and Williams College, plus 5 others. Prom and graduation are threatened though.
Kudos. Daughter #2 still wringing hands but I am still hoping she goes to Pitt or Temple. Won’t know for sure until mid-April. She is not happy about missing tail end of senior year/prom etc.

My alarm cat went off at 5AM but that’s my usual wake up time anyway.

Going to my ride. I will quote Khalil Gibran from The Prophet:

But let there be spaces in your togetherness,

And let the winds of the heavens dance between you....

And stand together yet not too near together:

For the pillars of the temple stand apart,

And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other’s shadow.

Feed them.

We give ours a bit extra wet food just before we go to bed. Doesn't always work, but they sometimes sleep in. Didn't work this morning.

They have an open buffet, so to speak. And ever since their favorite soft pate got discontinued, it’s been a constant search of new wet food to their liking. Primadonnas!

Going to brave the commissary this a.m. Wondering if we should glove or just sanitize intermittently.
