Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Same. but I think cheese is essential, so I will be placing a pick up order for some, so as to not hang out in there. I'm not a real fan, but Mrs. LAJ likes it, so I think it's time to give the Cheese Ranch some love.

By the way, when we learned what the buyer of our boat does for a living, we were no longer so surprised the deal went through.

So try to guess what this guy does for a living. Hint: it is possibly the field with the brightest of near term job prospects right now.

On A Lighter Note

Some might be interested in a "Post your dogs" thread over in C&V (of all places). As we know, animals have a wonderfully calming effect on our nerves.
https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-v...ur-dogs-8.html

Start from the last page and work your way backwards until you reach the older pages where the missing photos just get too annoying.

There may be a cats thread also somewhere for all you cat fans, somebody please let us know if you find one.

Just cancelled Benson's March Spa Day, scheduled for tomorrow.

Rescheduled for early May. We'll see...

I'm mailing the groomer a check for the session. Short notice cancellation and she does such a great job, we still want her to be around after the dust settles.

Want to get pissed off? Just heard in a meeting that someone stole masks in bulk from a patient care unit at work.

Whoa, didn't even see ls01 's post.

It was really cool watching the pups mature and that whole process, including how the breeder and her son would go in and handle them all, make loud distracting noises and other techniques to socialize the pups, etc. And as all the owners finally brought their pups home, we all kept in contact and shared notes about how all the litter mates were progressing. It was really cool for awhile . . . until some of these people started showing their uglier sides, and now I drop in briefly maybe just a couple times a month and keep my friggin distance.

John, please let us stay away from politics which can turn this thread into an ugly mess in a flash.
