i will tell what I see:
reduce the right brake housing "loop" to the height of the left.
on a bike like this... and here is the money is no object comment:
brown "honey" color saddle, natural color hoods, toe straps and light brown or tan cable housing
i think veloorange sells the housing still.
the dark metallic green and black... not enough value/ hue contrast.
i like the mechanical choices very much.

Well, yes and no. When I got it, the Mercian frame was sixth in the project line and I hadn't gotten to it yet. When you were posting that I was in the process of trading the frame to a friend for a 1977-78 Legnano Gran Premio. The Mercian was a bit small for me but perfect for him, and the Legnano was a bit big for him but perfect for me, so it worked itself out decently enough. And because of that, all I have are some pics of the unbuilt frame, but here's one anyway.
