Green field center mount KS are $10 , Installed for you at the LBS.
I have a couple bikes without a KS ... when I'm not riding it , it is locked up to something solid//....

I remember when I had my paper route and trying to balance the fully loaded thick as hell Sunday paper handlebar mounted bag on the kickstand. Stayed up there most of the time lol.
