Reasonably Priced RB-1 Alert(tm)
https://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/b...157936029.htmlVintage Bridgestone RB-1 - $350 (Everett)
The Dura Ace 7700 (?) on the back is maybe not good for originality, but it's a nice upgrade.

aaaaand from what looks like the same garage (you can even see the RB1 in the background), a MC-7500, top-of-the-line Panasonic MTB from '88, with an modernized 1x9 XTR train. The Schwinn KOM I have is effectively a rebrand, and it's lovely.
(pictures not included because the seller messed up and uploaded postage-stamp sized photos)

Panasonic MC-7500 - $300 (Everett)
I believe this is a 1988. U-brake is my clue, and the color scheme is 1988. I bought frame and fork several years ago and built. Wheels are Mavic 517 with Shimano XTR hubs. Rear derailleur is XTR. I have it as a 1x9 drive train. It is a comfortable cruiser. Very nice ride, tires can take 100PSI. Mountain Cat 7500 frame is Tange Prestige butted tubes. Top of the line for the Panasonic MC-series.Senior Member

Other than oddballs like the carbon Kestrel Paramount, I think S7 was the highest PDG Paramount. Good stuff, especially if you want an oversize tube frame, I think.

The rising sun on the back of the seat tube is so dang cool....
https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bi...158003842.html
This bike has been sitting in storage for over 30 years and is in excellent condition. Very low mileage, original sprockets still look like new. It is a 12 speed with Suntour components and 700C wheels (both run true). Sharp looking bike and rides well.
Frame measurements are as follows:
Seat tube: 22.75", 57.8 CM
Horizontal bar: 22", 55.9 CM
Diagonal bar: 24.25", 61.6 CM
The frame is not labeled with a specific size, however this frame is on the larger side. I am 6'2" and the bike fits me comfortably. The seat is able to go down another 3-4". With this in mind, I think the bike is best suited for riders 5'10" and above.
The only imperfections I can find on the bike are as follows:
Wheel is gouged up where it was hung up (see photo)
Grip tape is original and could be redone (see photo)

I bought this from the original owner in Colorado and shipped it here. So it has not been exposed to corrosive New England conditions. 1986 year 9 (January) based on serial number. All original except for saddle and handlebars, tires. Bars are Nitto Noodle 44cm. Drive train and brakes are Suntour Cyclone. Sugino crank. I replaced the heavy stock clinchers with Vittoria. UKAI rims. Fuji VALite double-butted tubing. I rode a full century on it in Colorado; it’s not a TDF bike but it is not a toy. 1986 year based on serial number.
Power Grip pedal straps are NOT included.

Motobecane Grand Record on Chicago CL. Turkey wing levers don't seem very Grand Record-ish to me. Seller says 1971, though I don't show that model in Mark Bulgier's 70-72 catalog. It does show in the 73 catalog. Either way, this seems pretty early to me.
Edit: I live in Evanston. I can take a look if someone's interested.

A very cute 3 speed with drum brakes, and an integrated rear wheel lock. Stainless steel rims, but I suppose with drum brakes it doesn't matter. Seems to be original down to the bell. The swaged crank is surprising, when exactly was this made?
