Front derailleur adapter for smaller chainrings
I have a 2021 Trek Domane that I ride on gravel and road so I just got a new crankset with 46/36 chainrings. On this bike, I cannot get the Ultegra deraileur low enough to be in the 2-3mm range because the braze on slot doesn't go low enough. Does anyone make an adaptor to lower the front deraileur 5mm or so? It shifts and rides fine as is but I want to get it within spec...

You can use a braze on adapter if you want to go 5mm:

But try setting it up slightly out of the 2-3mm spec. You might not even notice the difference.

You can use a braze on adapter if you want to go 5mm:

On my bike, with 48t ring, the FD cage hitting the chainstay is what prevents ideal clearance above the chainring.
