need help if it's a good deal..
so i have a lead on this 2010 Cervelo S1 Aero Road bike. 54 frame. 10 spd. Spinergy carbon wheelset with continental tires. Sram Rival/Force groupset. Shimano cassette 11-25. Fizik saddle. Includes water bottles and cages. Pedals not included. Very clean. $1250 is it worth this $$ i saw it today and the guy is nice enough to hold it for me until tomorrow, i am very interested, that being i can't swing a new one at the moment. If anyone can kind of help me see if this is a good deal, i would greatly appreciate it!! ,, the bike looks very solid, he is the 2nd owner, and he owns 3 over high end bikes, and wasn't aggressive in convincing me to take it off his hands. On the contrary, he was like I'm really not in a rush to get rid of it. so if anyone can help, awesome and appreciated!

Prices are all over the place. $1000 seems to be the median.

To me it’s a lot of money for an 18-pound aluminum bike with a decade of wear. Depends primarily if you like it, if it fits, and what shape it is in.

Yes that exactly what I thought at first too! 10 year old bike tires are on the slim side but the bike looks like it’s in decent condition.

10 year old bike. A new Cannondale Caad Optimo 105 11 speed is 1300. The Caad 13 105 is 1800. So for 50 to 600 bucks more a new out of the box 105 bike can be had. It has a warranty, up to date parts, and zero miles. The S1 is old and out of date, and I believe it is over priced. Needs to be closer to 800 and certainly not over 1000.
