Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Poseur, or not?

quite frankly, I think these pictures look absolutely ridiculous, except that his father ownes the company. So, if your dad owns the company, and your name is Alessandro Colnago, is it ok to dress like this for a ride, or are you a poseur??

sorry, but I think he looks ridiculous...

You also probably wear sweatshirts, think starbucks make coffee, and find it pretty easy to assault Italian style from a blue collar outlook. And you also misspelled "ridiculous". Merry Christmas and a better next year.

Wool hat in combination with exposed legs does seem weird ... but maybe he's just way cooler than you, OP ... maybe this guy has enough power to be able to dress like this and get away with it.

Looks like magazine article copy, except for the fact the composition is horrid.

If they are everyday pictures. then yes...

At least he's not wearing the kit of a team he doesn't ride for like most poseurs.

When I clicked on this thread, I expected to see someone in branded kit from head to toe.

I say "or not."

Ever since Steve Jobs died, I have seen so many mock turtlenecks and jeans type costumes around. Next time you go into a GAP store, check out the mock turtlenecks.

Now that "Jobs look" is ridiculous.
