found this car out in the boondocks of the city. it sure looks like someone set it on fire since the engine was not on fire.

It's been raining here, a lot. I had to re-route my normal loop three times. Seems the car driver didn't get the memo.

My bro-in-law and I were riding the High Bridge Trail near Farmville VA and came upon a group of about 30 Orthodox monks out for a stroll. They were strung out for about a quarter mile and were friendly when we passed giving generous clearance. I have a pic somewhere.

Part of the group. We had no idea there was such a monestary nearby.

My wife and I were riding near the Nanticoke River and spotted this interesting tree (bark texture and moss). I think it may be a Locust, but I'll look it up later. Also saw 3 bald eagles, 11 ospreys, and 7 wild turkeys.

This bark indeed looks like a honey locust. Try to catch it when it's in bloom, because the flowers are very fragrant.

Yep, gotta love it. ✌️😍✌️ My favorite so far, was The Coughing Canary, back in Scottsdale, Arizona. Great name, & great deals. 😎
There are several down in San Diego, right close together, near Sea World. I forget the name of the neighborhood now, or the names of any smoke shops there. 🤔😁😉

Sitting on the public beach in Ventura, CA, you can see a heck of a lot of marmots, aka ground squirrels. I’ll include a pic of the pier, cause you can “see” that too. 😁😉

50 mile ride yesterday. Union Pacific Rail Trail and 1 loop of the River Mountains Loop Trail (Lake Mead National Recreation Area) and back to Henderson.

Two pet capybaras (100 lb South American rodent) grazing at a park on the Union Pacific Rail Trail.

Desert blooms on the River Mountain Loop Trail.

Groovy alien-type dude! 😁😎😁 How about an old-timey Coke machine collection? This is in Ventura, I’m still not sure why, but I came back. 🤔

Way back in my senior year of college, we were friends with a couple that were organic tenant farmers (don't know how else to describe it). They worked for an investment banker that had a dream of being a farmer as long as he didn't have to do actual work. There was an field that needed to be fenced for Angus cattle so I helped my friend cut some locusts (locals called them black locusts) for fence posts. The wood is hard and said to be very rot-proof, but it is seldom straight and a B#@%& to cut.
