Evening/night ride Houston

I will fly to Airport Houston TX with bike about 8 pm and I will have to ride from Airport to Sugar Land. Q1. Is it road from airport to Houston for bicycles? Q2. Is it safe to cycle through Houston at night? It is about 40 miles and it will take me about 4 hours with all the stuff to ride - I will be at the hotel et 11 - 12 pm et night. Maybe it is better to take motel and drive at day? Thanks for help.

I would not ride from the airport on the north to Sugar Land in the day or night. Take an Uber or Lyft. You could take the Metro bus 102 from the airport to the downtown transit center and then ride from the downtown transit center. You can check the bike routes for options from there.

You will ride through some areas with the potential for violence, especially at night. Contact BikeHouston.org for their thoughts.
