Mirror for touring bike w/ bar end shifters

I would like to mount a mirror on my surly LHT, but I have bar end shifters so most mirrors I have found won't work. I have a mirror that mounts to my glasses, but I would prefer one that attaches to the bike.

Any ideas what I could use?

Thanks!

I can't find the exact model I use (Rhodes) but this is similar. . .

It fits on the brake lever hood. It's worked very well for me these last 12 years.

I use a Mountain Mirrycle attached with a light clamp. It took me a couple of attempts and a broken mirror but I think I got it right now. A picture (sorry, no close-up):

I have used the Blackburn Road Mirror, and like it. It may interfere with your ability to squeeze the brake lever if you have small hands because it thickens the brake hood slightly.

I just bought the blackburn road mirror, haven't used it yet. I've been using this Kids Mirror that I bought at REI. It's kind of cheesy, I threw away the mounting "hardware" and zip-tied it to my handlebar just under the brake lever. The cool things about it were that it doesn't break and you can switch it to the other side for countries where you ride on the left. The not so cool thing is that the mirror is so fish-eye that you can't see very far back. (thats why I'm trying a new one).

For $4, it's pretty easy to give it a try.

How about a Third Eye Helmet mirror? I personally don't like having the mirror on my glasses and I've been using the helmet mirror for ages. It works well, is unobtrusive and has a pretty big mirror on it.

How about a mirror that goes on your helmet?

Thanks for the responses. I'll try and score a Blackburn mirror.

MIRROR

I have bar end shifters as well. The mirror above is the one I have. It attaches to the brake hood with velcro.

The Blackburn road bike mirror has been working pretty well for me on my LHT.

Ultra Light Bike Mirror

That is the same one I use and I am very happy with it. I don't mount it as shown. I have it on the outside of my bars.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I ordered a mirror from Peter White Cycles and if that doesn't work I'll try the Blackburn mirror or the one from Performance.

https://www.peterwhitecycles.com/mirrors.asp

Thanks for the suggestion of the helmet mirror. I treat my helmet pretty rough, it gets tucked into my pack and if I am just tooling around doing errands I don't wear one - gasp! The mirror that attaches to my glasses works fine for fast road rides where I don't stop much, but I also want one on my bike so that no matter what I wear its there.

I'll post again after I have tried out the mirror from Peter White.
