Very nice bike I have owned a couple and 753 frames are great riders very solid with just a bit of flex which makes for a nice ride.

Any 753 framed bike is worth looking into hecause of its stregnth, stiffness and very light weight. The big thing to always consider is, condition, especially as the 753 tubing seems to be very prone to rusting for some reason. I brought this up in the forums some time ago and there seems to he something to it......

OP: welcome to Bike Forums.

The restrictions on posting pictures and URLs, the limit of 5 posts per day, and no ability to use PMs for brand-new accounts are anti-spam measures. They're apparently fairly effective, and they go away when you reach a certain number of posts (I believe zukhahn1 is correct above in saying the breakpoints are 10 posts and 3 days membership).

However, even now you can create a personal album in your User Profile and upload pix there. Do that, post the fact here, and it's a virtual certainty that someone will post the pix on your behalf ("pic assist").

Thanks, personal album created :-)
I actually have 2 bikes, the other is a Peugeot 531 Reynolds "Aravis", slightly larger frame size.

Pic assist:

NDS photo (no DS photo currently uploaded):

Remaining pix available at

OP, FYI: it's customary here to post DS photos in preference to NDS photos. To get best feedback it would probably be a good idea to post a full DS view, plus close-ups of both DS crank and rear derailleur. Close-ups of the hubs would also be nice.

FWIW, looks like a very nice ride.

DS equals Drive Side. eg: the side of the bike with the cranks, chain, and derailleurs.

DS - Drive Side (the side that shows the chainrings and derailleurs)
NDS - Non Drive Side (left side...)

I'd estimate the asking/selling price in the SF Bay Area to be around $1400/1200.

The additional pictures in your album show a bike that seems to be in mainly very good condition. This seat post should be raised, it might be stuck or may have distorted the frame.

Pictures of the gears and derailleurs would be helpful; they are on the "drive side".

+1 on the seat post it should be completely removed inspected greased and installed to proper height which should be about a hand and a half.

Seat post removed and a few more pics added to my profile album.
My bro-in-law was the last person to ride the bike, and he's a short fella!
