It's right up my alley. I have been taking behind bars shots for a while now and have a pretty good collection. I have made a game out of posting the pics on Facebook and asking my friends to guess where I am.

I sometimes encounter horse and rider on the roads and am sure to slow way down and pedal slowly or just stop and dismount.

You've gotta love those bike paths along the Pacific Coast. I used to ride them all over the place, when I was stationed with VMFP-3 at MCAS El Toro.
This was back in the `80s, though. So I figure things have probably changed in one of two ways: 1) They have gotten better and more extensive, or... 2) The new tax code decimated infrastructure spending, and they are falling into disrepair. Of course, paved bike paths don't age as fast as highways, because the use is so much lighter. This one looks to be in really nice shape.
