Wanted a Canyon, but have decided on Giant.... I think

So, after much searching, I thought I had finally found my new bike, I had decided on a Canyon Endurance CF 7.0 but after studying the sizing and geometry charts, I think it will be too different to what I've currently got, and feel I would be too upright on the Canyon, the Canyon website also sizes me on a XS which seems too small. I have since decided on a Giant TCR Advanced 2 which seems a lot closer to what I'm currently riding.
Current Bike (I have the womens version, but geometry is exactly the same, just different saddle)

New bike (hopefully)

Being new to this, question is... I have noticed the stack is 20mm lower on the TCR compared to my Triban as well as 7mm shorter HT, however the reach is the same, how much of a difference will these numbers make?
I am just waiting for stock of the TCR at LBS so I can test ride, but just wanted an idea of what to expect in terms of differences.

Thanks

I am quite particular about geometry and fit. However, I've found that when I have to make subtle changes when moving to a new bike, it really takes no time to get used to. Ideally, we'd never have to change the geometry of the bikes we ride, but it's inevitable. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Stack impacts how low you can get the handlebars. May not be anything for you to worry about.

Lower stack and head tube means that the bars, given the same stem and number od spacers, will be a couple cm lower than the level of the seat (seat-bar drop) on your current bike. it is a more racy riding position. However, a few spacers an an up-angled stem, and the fit could be identical. Or, as @pickett says, you might just adapt or even like it better.

One thing worth pointing out is that Canyon has 7 sizes total, where the Giant has 6. If you compare the frame geometry for the TCR 2 Small vs the Endurace XS it's very similar, a negligibly larger stack/reach (slightly more upright) ratio on the Endurace. I'm a big Canyon fan so I think you should give it a shot. Free returns so not a lot to lose. Can't go wrong either way though

Good luck!
