Can anyone identify this rim?
The only marking is the "made in USA" sticker. It's an anodized 700c clincher rim, my wife called the color gold. My calipers put the outer dimension at about 19.5mm. It's laced to a Maillard hub with an '85 date stamp. Thanks.

Sticker and date point to Trek Matrix rim. And Trek was using Maillard hubs at that time. Perhaps it's the Titan Tour?
I've seen black ano fade to goldish, so that could be the cause of the funny color.

I have an 82 or 83 Trek. There is a thread on here about it titled "82 Trek 412, Maybe" (I think) Anyway, it came with a wheelset that had Mallaird hubs laced to rims with "Tru America Corp Made In USA" on the sticker. A poster on the thread stated that Tru America Corp was a small Midwest rim company that Trek bought out and changed the name to Matrix.

Here's an old thread with a pic of what looks to be your sticker on a Titan Tour rim from '85, laced to a Maillard hub.
And then the Velobase page says they were available in 700c or 27" depending on the bike they came on.

Titan-Tour rims were touring-wide, 22-23mm outside measure. The OP's rim looks narrower, and Matrix road rims were some of the narrowest.
