Mr

Hi everyone,
I have a gtech eScent mountain hybrid bike, 36v 250w.
My question is how can I convert my motor to a bigger one. (1000w,1500w or 2000w)
What do you suggest is the best brand for conversion kits and any other advice with how to do it
Thanks in advance

Any thing bigger will make you a UK outlaw on the road.
- to step up to 1000w, you will need a new kit with battery. I don’t know which vendors will ship to the UK
-you may be able to keep the same controller if you swap in a 500w hub motor., but you will still need a new battery with more amp hours. The controller is usually less expensive than a motor or battery, so this approach will not save much money.

A larger motor will drain the battery quicker. You will need to get the motor, get it laced into your wheel, wire up the controller it uses. Then you need to patch the wiring so you can use your existing battery, or get a new one designed to fit your motor.

Tell me, if the rozzers catch you, will they confiscate your bike?
