Funny that "Support Your Local Brewery", "In Support of Craft Breweries", and "Have Fun, Support Breweries & Give Back!" is stated.
Around here you can buy as much craft and local beer as you want from liquor stores and grocery stores. COVID19 isn't stopping availability here.
But, what the heck. Whatever it takes to motivate people to ride.

The current crisis is definitely affecting my ability to ride to my local brewery and enjoy a craft beer.
Bikes&Beers has been on my FB feed for a couple of years now. I like the idea; your ticket gets you a T-shirt / jersey and finish line beers.
There’s usually a longer ‘sportive’ route and a shorter casual ride.
Just seems like I’m always out of town when they hold one around here.
Similar model to the Rock&Roll marathon series, but a smaller scale and more local focus. (And better beer!)
It ‘supports local breweries’ because that’s where the start/ finish line / food truck rodeo is. They get the increased traffic/ merchant sales and what not that goes with hosting the event.
The “Social Distancing Ride” is their ‘virtual ride’ online fundraiser, since, you know, big group events are kinda frowned on right now.
