Picked up the wife at the airport last night. Roads are sheet (ice), a 1.5 hour RT took nearly 3. Looks like no race for me this weekend. On the bright side I get to pound out stupid efforts on the rollers.

Still ill and off the bike since my Monday night ride. My mind is wandering during the down time. I'm thinking about Hed Jet 6/9. I like my Easton EC70 SL (which are 38s), which I use for training and racing. But, I've had deep in the back of my mind for a bit. Do I really need to spend $1000 or so? This seems like a pretty reasonable price. And what about our friend Psimet? But, he goes to 50. Ah, the flu has had some strange effects. I'm going back to sleep shortly.
