Vintage Loison Bobet Mixte frameset Plus parts
Vintage Loison Bobet Mixte frameset Plus parts - $50 (La Grange) < >

This is a 1960's Loison Bobet mixte frame ,fork, headset, seat post, alloy front brake hanger, bottom bracket cups and lock ring. Loison Bobet was the first rider to win the tour de france three years in a row,1953-1955. I believe this frame was likely made by Mercier based on the fact that the head badge is the same shape as a 1960's mercier badge. The paint is nice enough to leave it as is although the decals on the seat tube are damaged. At any rate this is a nice looking lugged steel mixte French frame with nice vintage details and look. PRICE $50.00

I wonder if that seatpost is stuck? Pretty bike though.

Looks like it's steel so it should be OK.

you might pm that 3alarmer fellow if you're serious.

from the bikes he buys and rebuilds, sacramento seems like the best place on the continent to buy (but not sell) these vintage road bikes we love so much.

Here and Davis, yes. I think if you were going to make a business of it the thing to do would be to buy such bikes here and sell them in SF

Still not too bad of a price, not as good as the one in Sacramento, but not bad for Seattle.

Yeah, most of the ones I've seen posted around Seattle are $900+ and often in poorer shape w/ no frame pump etc.

What's the market for mid 90's Breezers like? They mention they have the original rigid fork. Sounds like a nice price to me.

[h=2]Breezer Thunder mtn bike - $200 (Minnetonka Ridgedale, MN)[/h]Breezer Thunder mtn bike

Selling my Breezer Thunder mountain bike. I am the original owner and built this bike in the mid-1990's. Used it as my primary off road bike through the late 90's and then had it in storage while living overseas. These days it is one of too many bikes at our house and its only use is for pulling kiddies around. I need fewer bikes and it needs more use.

I have a suspension fork I put on it, but also have the original fork as well. It currently has a shortened stem, but I also have other than could be used. There are slicks on it, but I will also throw in some 2.0" off road tires as well.

I don't recall the actual size (18" or 19") but I am 5'11" and I like to ride on a short top tube. The bike is mechanically sound and ready to be ridden on or off road. Suspension is in great shape, no issues. Paint has wear marks from some days or off roading but no dents or concerns. It is ready to go.

$200. Email with questions.

And their BIN prices, which I assume is what they would take for these bikes...is too high for the condition they are in! You can find a nice Professional for $1000, basically ready to ride. The Gran Criterium is a little bit better priced, but, still way over...

I don't think this is worth $600 but I wish I had the money to make a reasonable offer.

New Campy gum rubber brake hoods, new Christophe toe clips and leather straps, new brake pads, white leather Brooks handle bar tape with wooden plugs, Rigida rims, Brooks saddle. When purchased in 1981, it was said to have been a training bike of John Howard's. Paint and decals have some fading and there are some scratches but it is in excellent shape and ready for that next vintage ride.

[h=2]1971 Raleigh Super Course Bicycle - $250 (NW Albuquerque) [/h]

condition: excellent
make / manufacturer: Raleigh
model name / number: Super Course
serial number: 2066XX
size / dimensions: 23 1/2

In its day, the Raleigh Super Course was an entry-level racing or touring bike aimed at the serious cyclist on a budget. Adjusted for inflation, this bike sold for about $710 when new. This stunning 1971 Bronze Green Super Course is in excellent condition, with absolutely straight 23 ½ inch frame, no dents or cracks. Standover height is 33 inches. The Nervex lugwork and chromed fork crown are exceptional. Gerry Burgess stem. It does not appear that the bike was ridden much, as there is little wear on the Brooks narrow B-15 saddle that would indicate extended use. Mint (color and condition) original handlebar wrap.

Specifications include Reynolds 531 tubing -- with excellent decals, quick release wide-flange hubs, Weinmann Vainqueur 999 center-pull brakes, Weinmann alloy rims, 10-speed gears, Simplex / Huret derailleurs fitted with 40-52T chainwheel, 14-28T sprocket, Stronglight steel chromed crank, Christophe toe-clips, sticker flickers, and other high-quality components.

Compare frame alone for $199.00 at:

super raleigh course | eBay

Compare vintage Super Course for $475.00 at:

[h=2]Schwinn 1972 Super Sport 10 speed Vintage Bicycle - $300 (El Prado (Taos))[/h]

[URL="https://images.craigslist.org/01212_zitTANX9gk_600x450.jpg"]

condition: good

If bike is listed it is still for sale.

Bike was made in June 1972 (FH serial number prefix) Schwinn Super Sport.
But remember, June was the transition month for Schwinn, so this would have been sold as a 1973 model in the bike shops after May of 1972.

This is the only year that "Sunset Orange" was offered for the Super Sport.

Frame size is 26" (25" center of crank to top of seat post) tall frame for you TALL guys 6' plus.

A very tall inseam is required for this frame s it has a 34 3/8" standover. This is from the top tube to the ground so please see the last pic where I placed a tape measure. Make sure your inseam is enough to give you crotch clearance!

Top tube is 23" long.

Fillet brazed frame.
Chrome shines!

Google up Sheldon Brown Schwinn Super Sport for more specific details on this classic bike.

Weinman Belgium made rims, Schwinn quick release hubs.
Wheels trued!

Found in a garage in Idledale, Colorado by my Mom.
I rode it for a couple months then gave it a rebuild.

Completely rebuilt from the ground up.
All bearings lubed (upper/lower headset, wheels, crank set and pedals).
New cables/housings, NOS quick release brake lever assembly.
NOS handlebar tape!
New brake pads.

Saddle is original Brooks B15, broken in, a bit worn, needs polished, on the edges but in good shape.
Has a Schwinn marked rack with a custom cut reflector I added.
Will replace the current worn old tires with the originals which are in decent shape.
The 39# solid frame has the typical numerous dings on the paint here and there-SEE PICS.
Decals still readable.

Runs straight and true, climbs good for a vintage bike!
