Looks like an excellent deal really. There seem to be excellent deals in that vicinity. Some real nice deal was just posted on some bike in Peoria.

Not sure how these auctions typically work, but there's a huge lot of vintage bicycle things selling at the end of the week:

https://www.liveauctioneers.com/cata...cycle-auction/

In particular, this 1976 Jack Taylor tandem caught my eye:

Also this bike "built for four":

Would probably need reliable facilitation from NY for any of this stuff.

Basso Loto Road Bike
- $650

Basso Loto 52" 10 speed road bike in excellent condition. My wife purchased this bike in 2003 to ride with me but found that this style bike (road, not upright) did not work well for her. She has since purchased a cruiser and has decided it's time to let this bike go. It has Campagnolo Daytona components and less than 500 miles on the bike. It's a clean bike in very good shape that comes with shoes/clips & pedals. The wheels are in great condition. It's the perfect bike for someone looking to put on some miles on the road or someone who is planning to do a longer charity or century ride. Let me know if you have any questions. Price is $650 or best reasonable offer.

Yes, this one would surely be costly at $700 I would think, it is still interesting to see what is selling in Nebraska. Interesting bike though.
Looks like a late 70's - 80's model as it lacks the full wrap-around seat stays, handsome metal head-badge & chromed forks and stays. Those Sugino cranks w/ the slotted arms
are very cool.

Probably okay if you're spinning. But, yeah I wouldn't stand on them on a climb unless I lost 50lbs first.

Those are Sugino Mighty Road and there is no other drillium on the bike...might the arm slots be factory rather than custom? The slots in the spider are factory.

Dunno....hard to tell from the photo.

I wouldnt ride them either, and I only weigh around 145lbs. I dont think they're factory either, no way imo.

Okay, this one's weird. I really like the choice of Sturmey-Archer 8-speed for the drivetrain, that's pretty cool. But do you see what he did for a shifter?

Unless my eyes are failing me, I think I see a Gripshift attached to the handlebar stem!

That would be awkward, don't you think?

Edit On, the place in KC also has the woman's, $25: https://kansascity.craigslist.org/bid/5506785545.html

Rod Brakes, that's what those are called! Aren't they? This must be a bit rare, look at the slant on the headtube and fork.

Boy's Raleigh the ad says but some 3 speeds just look small and this Antique Dealer, no disrespect, has already shown themselves in my opinion to not be too knowledgeable on this. This may well fit an adult. In fact, I think it would.

Only $25.

I don't know how Rod Brakes date a bike. Looking at a websearch of images, there was a modern Raleigh logo on one such bike but this is the way they did way way back.

58cm Halfords Bike Frame
It's been listing in ATL for at least 5-6 weeks now. It's a Halfords frame, Halfords is a big shop with storefronts all over the UK that's been selling bikes for decades. Not sure who actually makes their frames, but you can clearly see the logo in the seat stay caps. Someone badged it with De Rosa stickers. Looks like a nice frame and all, but asking price is more than double what I'd pay for it.
