If it lasts past this Saturday, I may be tempted to go get it on Sunday. Always wanted a 1000. Having a hardly used fuji touring series 4 hanging in the basement, I'm hoping another BF member scoops it up and takes good care of it.

For sale is a 1990 Bianchi volpe. This is a very versatile bike as it can be used as an entry level cross bike, a commuter, a tourer, or just a nice riding bike path cruiser. I picked it up recently and gave it a tune up, trued the wheels, new tires, tubes and bar tape. Sadly it is a little too small for me, should fit well in the 5'4" to 5'8" range, although it certainly could go a bit more on either side of that range. Overall the entire bike is in great condition, very few small knicks/scratches, no dents and dings. The components are all in excellent working condition, all the gears shift smoothly. Saddle and pedals are more or less for test rides as most will equip their own, however i can work with you if you need either or both, I have some other nicer options, just ask. here are the specs..
1990 52cm Bianchi Volpe, double butted Tange cro-mo steel lugged frame/fork, eyelets for 2 bottle cages, fenders, and a rear rack
700c Araya aluminum wheels
brand new Kenda "small block eight" 700x32 cross tires/ brand new tubes
suntour xce crankset & F/R derailleurs 3x7
suntour bar mounted command shifters
nitto dynamic II stem
sakae modolo ergo drops with new Deda bar tape
Dia-Compe aero brake levers/canti brakes
I am asking $400 but will listen to all reasonable offers, ridiculous low-balls will be ignored, partial trades considered for quality parts/components/framesets/wheelsets etc. let me know what you have. I am located near upper darby high school, and can generally meet in the evenings. I can be reached by email, phone or text (484 four two nine 3382) all 3 come direct to my cell and i usually respond quickly. Any emails asking if its still available, or obvious spam will be ignored, please send an email that is more than a few words. If the ad is up the bike is still for sale, i will remove the ad immediately when it is sold. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. Thanks for looking

[h=2]lugged * 62cm * ready2ride * Bridgestone RB-2 * excellent condition - $200 (Delaware County / Philadelphia)[/h]

Date: 2012-09-12, 12:56PM EDT

If you're familiar with road bikes....you already know the quality of this bicycle If not...do your research. You will be surprised.
1992 Bridgestone RB-2 700C wheels
62cm, lugged. Highest quality Japanese tubing available.
sealed hubs, headset, bottom bracket and pedals.
Tuned and ready to ride.
Wheels are true. Both straight and no hops.
Tires, tubes, rim tape and bar tape are brand new.
Shifts, brakes and rides extremely smooth. No rattles, shakes, squeaks, unknown sounds.
Frame shows typical wear. Any defects are surface items only. Frame and fork are both straight and aligned.
Downtube shifters, 8/9 speed compatible along with STI conversion.
This bike is for someone:
-new to the sport
-already rides and needs a daily commuter or a bike to run errands on
-needs a spare bike to keep somewhere else (friends, family, etc)
-would like to learn and do a full rebuild of a lugged bike
Although Bridgestone's tend to be rare, it's not considered vintage. The frame construction, geometry and general construction do make them sought after bikes by collectors and those who ride. With a complete and full restoration (stickers, etc etc) you can make money.
I will consider trades of the following:
59-61 lugged frames or complete bikes of equal value, 700C wheels only
59-61 aluminum/other material of lesser quality and cash with 700C wheels only
Don't waste my time. I'm quick to reply with responses. If it takes you days to respond to a question I've answered for you..... I'm not even going to waste my time trying to meet you. I will meet and delivery, if need be Provide contact number in your response and I'll get back to your shortly. If the post is still up it's not sold or traded yet.

This is in Auburn Indiana. I would look at this myself but being unemployed I'm not going to spend money on a frilly item. Maybe someone here might though:
https://fortwayne.craigslist.org/bik/3267253312.html
Depending on the year, but it appears the red color schemed Super Le Tour's in 85 came with Cyclone components, if this is that model that would be a good price.

I saw this ad for an upcoming auction...in NH....The Bennett Collection. A whole lot of stuff, many bikes ! A number of pre war, couple of antique track racers, some later stuff, too much stuff ! Also a lot of junk or potential parts bikes. All with NO reserve.
Link to auction site- https://www.auctionsamerica.com/event...?SaleCode=TB12
looks like bike stuff will be auctioned on both days , 21/22 Sept.
Good luck if you go !!

Here's one you don't see very often. I spoke with seller, he's asking $650. He is open to negotiation, his main concern is that his Raleigh goes to a good home. Anyone know where a good home exists cuz my wife threatens to send me to one if I buy another bike!

One of a kind custom Serotta Classique Titanium single speed specific cyclocross frame, fork, headset, brakeset and seatpost. This is a 58cm frame handbuilt by Serotta in New York. Frame is in pristine condition, and has less than 500 miles on it. Check out Serotta's website and you will not see a titanium offering for less than $5000 (frame and fork). This is a dedicated cyclocross frame with horizontal dropouts and a spot chain tensioner. Included in the sale will be the frame, titanium Sibex cross fork with titanium steerer(super rare), Chris King headset, Avid Ultimate cross brake calipers and a Thomson seatpost. This is easily a $5400 package for $1750. Really a beautiful frame that needs to be seen to be apreciated. Weld quality is amazing. I have the original paperwork from Serotta, which will come with the frameset.

Bianchi Premio 19inch
1986 /87 Campione del Mondo Colorado Springs
Frame is in fairly good condition. Got a lot of use up until 10 years which was when it had it's last tune-up and has been put in indoor storage for 9 years. A fair amount of rust on spokes, a small tear on seat and tape on handles will need replacing; no upgrades

Bianchi Premio racing Bike. Purchased new around 1993. Mechanically Excellent. Cosmetically fair to good. Left handlebar needs a rewrap. Was tuned up about 4 years ago; I'm embarrassed to admit I only rode it once since then (which is why I'm selling it). Love the bike, but I don't do this type of riding anymore. This bike just wants to straight and FAST!
I WOULD consider a trade for a decent hybrid or mountain bike
I live in Swampscott, work in North Andover.
Email's always the best way to reach me.

Not a bad looking little guy.
1970s Schwinn Voyageur - $160 (Durham)
Vintage 1970s Schwinn Voyageur 11.8 touring road bike for sale. Shimano derailleur. Old, but in good shape. The distance from where the pedals meet the frame to the top tube is 19.5 inches, and the standover height is 30 inches. Needs new front brake pad. $160 or best offer. I'll thrown in the bike lock, seat cushion, and two reflectors.

Al and Gin (the sellers), graciously met me in Cloquet saving me 80 miles of driving. Al is the original owner, and a great guy. We chatted for about 20 minutes and he even took pictures of me with it so he could remember it. He has moved on to an LHT that he really likes also he has a 520 at his winter place down south. Nice guy who rode it 10 miles a day for the past 20 years.
He found the original seat he tucked away, and even provided the manual and original bill of sale. It's an 84, not an 87, but I'm just fine with that. I seem to attract bikes from 1984. It's not a garage queen, but in really great condition with enough little imperfections to make me feel un-guilty riding the snot out of it.
