High-ish End MBK Road Bike ID

Hi!

I recently bought this bike from the wife of a former bike shop owner, who had now died. She didn't know anything about the bike
and besides the obvious I haven't really been able to find any info either. There is no model name on the frame as far as i can see, which makes
it hard to research. I looks pretty high end to me, judging by the Columbus tubing, the amount of chrome and the drilled simplex dropouts, but besides that
I' m grateful for any information that I can get. I might add that the bike is going to be sold. I run a small bike shop in Stockholm, but it is hard to set a price
without more information.

Cheers / Tobias

That’s a beauty. I had a tough time tracking down info on mine. Images are hard to come by.

Definitely a top of the line MBK.
All the components (The Cinelli 1R stem, Cinelli Campione del Mundo bar, Selle Italia Turbo saddle and the Columbus SL frame tubing were Italian) used were the best that came out of France and Switzerland back then.

Trying to figure out what the calipers are. Assume Weinmann but not a model I am familiar with.

I googled up MBK to see the history (I've only seen one in ~35 years of riding) and the name still exists, owned by one of the "bike name conglomerates".
They don't own Motobecane though.
