Did the trainer thing this morning. Garmin fitness test with emphasis of 10 mins at zone 4. Since I was using the garmin to control the wahoo power seemed to stabilize at 234 watts. Man that was hard. In a race or group ride it so much easier to hold that than alone on the trainer. I was able to complete the test which made me feel pretty good.

No way the miles are correct. Garmin had me doing 25 mph at 156 watts. I wish that was correct.

Only thing I will say about the trainer, I had to do a 20 min warm up at 156 watts. My HR outside at 156 watts is 125 or less. On the trainer it was 140. Def felt harder than 156 watts.

New wheels are sweet, wife said I could put them on the bike but I have no sealant and I am getting pair of schwalbe gr one, trying to determine if I should just wait to mount those or go ahead and put the WTB exposures on.

My brother has 6 hens for egg production. He gets a certain type that are real productive for a decent amount of time usually 1 a day each. Can't remember the name. It's enough to supply my sister and other brother as well. 42 eggs a week is a lot. I think I had some while I was up north recently.

Do you have crank or pedal based power on your road bike? Do you have the option to use the same meter? The HR disparity is pretty big, so I think that either the meters are not aligned, or you have a cooling problem. You need fans even in a relatively cold garage.

Nope, back up at 5:30 AM. Hopefully this is just a little blip on the radar and not some larger phase. She had been inching towards sleeping through the night, and usually only getting up once for the last few weeks (she's 8.5 weeks old).

I do not currently have a power meter on this bike. I also did not have a fan on in the beginning of the workout. Maybe that’s the problem.

our blip on the radar lasted weeks kid #2 had mild case of reflux (or something related)

once we got past that we were good to go … sorta / kinda … that kid could then sleep almost anytime anywhere

Some cheesy crap that came with the bike (Creo). Maybe they didn't clean the surface but the tape wouldn't stay put. I think he figured it out after the third flat.

yes - that is what I was informed

and for a long time I purchased the eggs that sat on tables unrefrigerated (or in portable cooler with no ice)

but for whatever reason at one point the flea market (and / or FDA food safety / inspectors ?) had issue with the storage of the eggs

also often purchase vegetables at these same local flea markets … much of the produce is organic or very close - but not certified … no pesticides are used - instead they use something else - maybe tobacco leaves or ground tobacco leaves or something like that ?

( so we will prob die from something related to that stuff )

Another good one was Alice in Chains unplugged. I've always liked "playing in" type intros. Jerry Cantrell starts it off, then Mike Inez adds the really well recorded acoustic bass. A clean looking Layne Staley enters to applause that hides the fact he was tripping bigly.

I've used Velox since the 80s but my lbs sold me an American brand which is at least as good. Can't remember the name but next time I get a flat I can check.

Mountain bike came with thin plastic tape for tubeless. I still use tubes and the tape is the full width of the rim, the bead sits on the tape. This makes getting the tire off into an ordeal.

recently had a heckuva time with 650b tubeless ready tires / rims with tubes install - really really tight (and now I officially despise anything tubeless lol)

I’ve had snug or even tight before - but these were ridiculously tight - so I might go away from velox for this one particular bike / set of wheels with something thinner

recent interesting observation related to tape that would not stay put and shifted just enough to expose the spoke holes … possibly rode the bike in this condition for weeks - maybe 10 short rides ?

the Schwalbe Aerothan tpu tube did not flat … fairly certain a butyl tube would have flatted

If you want bulletproof rim tape, use medical adhesive tape and then a layer of fiberglass strapping tape. No slippage and the wheel will never need rim tape, again until you have to replace a spoke or rebuild the wheel.

Ya you need fans. Also, if your power targets are on a meter that is reading higher than your trainer, than you need to scale your targets down. Only way to know that is to put the meter that your targets are based on on the trainer so you can dual-record and see both in real time.
