Catena Lusso wheel size?

serial # CC361 & arrived with 27 inchers.would these be correct for an 85-86 model? no answer yet from Pinarello.the rear appears period correct shimano 600 hub w/5 speed cluster.TIA.

Probably not original wheels for your very pretty bike.

for this date one would expect 126mm rear spacing

brake pads are surprisingly at the bottom of the adjustment slot

for this machine at this date would expect 47mm brake centres with 700 wheels

I doubt an answer from Pinarello will be forthcoming.
they designed for Tubulars.
fortunately 700c are for you nterchangeable.

the brake reach may indeed be best suited for “ normal” reach calipers.
slamming the axle all the way back in the dropouts will effect reach.

2016, the Pinarello owners sold a majority stake to private equity.
2023, that firm sold the brand again.
minor chance for lots of technical history to be retained.
Heck, 10 years ago the Company museum did not even mention a Pinarello was used to win the ‘84 Olympic Road Race.
