Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Looks like a horrible fit. Seat maxed out to the front, tons of spacers under the stem, and a riser stem. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the bike hasn't been fitted yet.

Nice looking bike. Is that an old saddle? -- it looks like it's taken a fall.

Good eye. Thats from old bike. I have new antares braided saddle, but I need to wait till my seatpost arrives. Specialized seatposts are incompatible with fizik carbon rails.

buy yourself a zero setback seatpost if that saddle position is even close to what you will wind up with,

Anyone who thinks they can tell that a bike doesn't fit its rider by looking at a pic without the rider on it is wrong. No need to be a dick. The man just bought a beautiful new bike! (and as it turned out, it hadn't been fit yet anyway.)

Someone said the same thing after seeing a pic of my new bike on here a few months back. The bike had been professionally fit, and they were dead wrong. The bike fits and rides like a dream.

I'm sure that bike will ride wonderfully, enjoy it!

On a side note, I've found that the gold KMC chain loses its coating very quickly and then looks rather foul.

KCNC skewers--have you used them before? Curious if you've experienced any slippage or having to really tighten it down.

It is a very nice bike and even though I have Red SRAM myself your bike defintely pwns my bike. However something about that pic that hurts my eyes, like the Easton is competing with the Specialized Graphics or maybe it is the logs. I have been photoshoping the whole day so that may be it as well

Gorgeous! The muted black with red accents and Red looks sweet. I'm sure it will ride as sweetly as it looks.

+1 on the zero set back if that's where the saddle will be.

I always point my rear skewer in towards the frame in case someone overlaps my rear and catches it. I've never even heard of that happening but it's a 20 year old habit.

Love the new bike! Matte black w/red looks very cool. SRAM Red on a SL3 Tarmac, is definitely going to be fast, hehe.

Love the stand too (I have the same one)

If the bike needs to be setup like that in order to fit correctly, the owner would have been better off choosing a different bike. (size, or brand geometry). Obviously, you just spent all that money for something that looks pretty, and there is a certain aesthetic to the way a bike should be set up. I'm not talking about comfort vs. sex appeal, rather getting the right bike for the right job. Just a general statement, I understand that the OP's bike hasn't been fitted.

I believe the "bad fit" poster was inferring the frame/seat post size were wrong because of the extension length and spacers.

Awesome dude! Where do you get these yellow stickers?!

Seriously, very nice bike. Sexy quick release skewers too man! Why no crossed shifter cables? Looks sleeker, and causes less friction on the cables.
