UC Berkeley has a few parking spots reserved for Nobel Prize winners. In a central location. I have passed them many times while taking the Grandboy to summer school class. I don’t remember ever seeing any car parked there over the last three summers. Maybe the laureates were all on vacation. Good for them.

The Swiss Biophysicist and Nobel laureate Jacques Dubochet had been cycling to his lab at Lausanne university for the last 30 years. When they asked him he wanted from them for winning the Nobel prize, he replied: "a parking space for my bike!"
After further research, it appears I had my Nobel laureates confused. I apologize for spreading mis-information.
