1960 western flyer 'tourist' by raleigh uk worth trading or selling?
This bike has been in dry storage for years. no rust on rims or spokes!

Around here, there are really no trade opportunities. So it means selling it. Without high quality pics, no idea. In dry storage for years = needs thorough service, tires, tubes, cables, bearings and grease.
Based on pics below, I would price it lower than $70 myself. What market is key. Portland, OR or San Fran, price would be a lot higher.
Bike needs a complete rehab, some cable and minor rust issues.

My take on value:
English three speeds are hit and miss, all over the map with no consistency or reason behind prices. There are a lot of lightning in the bottle cases where someone sold one for 500 dollars... but then there are cases like mine where I could not sell my very rare Norman 3 speed for more than 100 dollars in pristine condition.
I'd personally don't like to pay more than 70 dollars for a three speed in need of rehabbing... but I am also cheap. I'd say you could probably get + or - $100.00 with good pictures and a nice ad. If you take the time to fix it up, you could probably get 150-175 for it.
I sold this very similar Raleigh sports for $150.00, it was the most I ever made on a 3 speed. It was pristine when I sold it; new grease and bearings, new tires, new chain, new cables and NOS dynamo lamp. A lot of time and sweat probably went unpaid in the end.
