What is the SECRET?

I was looking at some videos when I realized that they were doing tricks like tail whip, bar spin, etc. How is it possible to make the handlebar spin? Do they put more hose? do they have specials stem? I can't understand

THX

In BMX, it's called a gyro. I don't think they use gyros in MTN biking though...

Some mtbs have gyros (P street, Cowan) but usually people just run their cables long and/or spin the bars in the other direction beforehand so they're actually unwinding during the barspin or tailwhip.

Some also run the front brake down the steer tube.
