So... that guy on the right is me. Y'all took notice of the non-winning salute. I take full responsibility for what was deemed a 3rd place Cat 4-level salute by a Cat 4. A few of you interpreted things pretty well, though - I'd never podiumed, nor had my teammate, we did it together, got beaucoup points, and did it by executing a team leadout plan to near perfection (big credit to the winner for spoiling the party, and I told him so in person). I did get a little carried away, I'll admit.
But y'know what? A week later I did the same salute. This time I made sure I won. It was way better.

Jigga would say you definitely brushed that dirt off yo' shoulder.

Yeah, what's up with all that sunshine, oiled legs, and tan lines?
We should all get to suffer like that.
Here's Espoir Cole House (in white), fresh back from Europe, taking a pull and
reminding WI locals how to really suffer!

You can't really see it here, but that water seemed like it was about 3 inches deep. And temps in the 40s.

Thanks, man.
Thanks bdc. Jigga would be proud of me, indeed. Not taking BF, and myself, too seriously is the only way I stay sane. Hell, I submitted my own picture to that yougotdropped blog.
You're too kind. Introduce yourself sometime now that you know what I look like. I'll be in plenty of combined 3/4 fields in the next month before my upgrade.

yeah, photog did a great job. Good idea shooting with a wide angle low and up and using slow sync flash. Most people think telephoto when it comes to sports photography.
This is at The Driveway in Austin. Its a car race track that a bike race promoter leases on Thursdays during the spring/summer/fall.

I also got dropped off after the first 2 laps and remember seeing you, because you were the only other guy with a blue jersey. I was not to pleased with getting dropped but got 9th out of 16, so it could have been worse (Cat 5's not combined with 35+). After the race however I had a 3 hour drive back home, which was not to much fun.
