My Civic is on it's last cylinder and i'm thinking about a new Subaru. Actually I should of bought the car first instead of the bike.... but then I wouldn't be the "kewl" guy on the road.

Wow 265,000 miles on a car!!!
So far I have a 6 year old car with only 29,000 miles. I think it will rot out long before it wears out. I might have some extra cheddar then for a second bike! Even if I drove 5,000 miles a year and the car would last to 265,000 miles, I could potentially have the car for over 53 years!!

Ironically, I don't drive much either...it had 240K on it when I bought it 14 years ago!

I'm going down tomorrow to put my deposit on a Emonda SLR frameset. My palms are sweating just thinking about writing that check!

R1 is nice, got to have the head to ride it. Not me. I'd crash. Not that that's the worst thing that could happen. Imagine a supercharged R1.

Good choices! Which one do you think is a better aluminum frame and has a more comfortable ride? Would be nice to test both of these. I suppose Cannondale is the company everyone relates the best aluminum too but maybe Trek did something special with the ALR. The ALR6 definitely looks better. the Cannondale is smothered in prints and logos.
