WTB: Vintage Headset
Need headset cups, threaded race and crown race for circa 1952 Rudge club style. F/F are Nottingham built, have the dreaded 26 tpi threading on the steer tube and BB. I have bearing balls and a good set of lockwasher and locknut. Fork is 1" 26 tpi, headset ID is 30 mm, crown race seat OD is 26.0 mm. The frame is not restored or like-new, but it seems sound and straight, so good used parts are acceptable.
1952 Rudge Aero Special, 531 non-butted, AW hub, modern saddle so it looks like a bike, modern tires, original rims. Rebuild will have repacked bearings, B15 Swallow or ???, and most likely a TA chainset 48 teeth.

I'll have a look...The top race and cups, perhaps. Does your fork not have the crown race? They're pretty tough and rarely need replacement.

I am not going to build this old Carlton up and the English head set is in very nice shape. Is this the sort of thing that you are looking for or do you seek something new?
