Got a reply from Patrick. While he can't d exchanges, he said if I sell my Kagero for my asking price of 650, he'll sell me one from PC for 650 + free shipping in Small.

Pretty awesome.

Volunteered at the co-op and checked out some dumpsters... came home with two perfectly good chairs that are now sitting by my firepit and bought some new road / hybrid fenders for some future project.

Amazing what you find when you are cruising the dumpsters...

Today i bought a **** ton of stuff that I'd been wanting for my roadie. Upgraditus finally set in. I at least made myself wait until I'd put a few hundred miles on it before I decided what I wanted to change. That makes it okay, right???

Today I rode on some muddy trails. I did 40km mostly by myself, I only met some fellow riders on my way back home.

Today I came home ****faced at like 2 in the morning and found this sitting by the dumpster.

Interestingly enough the seatpost is long enough that it can be raised to accommodate my inseam and the handlebars go down enough to give me a nice level fit. I pumped up the tires and rode it around the block when I woke up this afternoon. The 73/70 geometry is weird but it's pretty fun tho, like driving a truck. I think it may be my new MARTA bike.

Moved all my **** from the old and busted apartment, to the new hotness of a house. Unfortunately, after trip 1 the ****ing ramp to the U-Haul broke, and the ****** they brought out to fix it had to borrow my angle grinder to get it fixed. Which meant that I had to rent it for an extra day because I ran out of daylight.

If I don't get comp'd tomorrow I'm going to raise holy hell.

Today I overheard a guest asking a bartender if she could have me for dessert. I felt so pretty. Twenty minutes later I helped remove her from the premises for puking on someone and passing out. I don't feel pretty anymore.

It's so weird, your restaurant is a pretty classy place, yet it also seems like it regularly attracts ****-show hot mess humans. Is it that a bunch of Bud-drinking Lakeviewers get their asses beat by all the high gravity stuff y'all serve?

IMO Thailand and Indonesia have similar cross-town streets so one day you should try to ride in Indonesia, bet it'll be a lot of fun "bombing" the traffic

and so...
this is how we went back home from the trip...we were too tired to ride back to town while the uphill roads are already waiting for us

Today I'm going to see a matinee showing of Avengers and have a late lunch with friends. But first, I'm gonna take some pictures of the terrible state of the roads in my neighborhood and use them to write a grumbly letter to my alderman. (Said alderman set up these "bike safety events" that are really police enforcement of bikes breaking the laws, like riding on sidewalks. As much as I hate people that ride on sidewalks, in our neighborhood it's completely understandable because the roads are so bad and the traffic so dangerous. So I am firmly but politely going to point out that sidewalk riding is much more likely to decrease if riding on the roads isn't dangerous and/or terrifying.)
