I bought a Trek 1500 and love the bike..but I have a couple of questions. The bike is about 30 days old.
1) Both tires when spinning I notice a slight wobble side to side....is this common? It is not rubbing the brake pads, but I see the wobble. Can this be fixed by truing the spokes?
2) I am using a trainer and the gears jump on the rear. Is there different loads on the bike from the trainer to the road? Would this affect the gears?
Just wondering.

You need your derailer adjusted, for the gear shifting, thats what i think, and the wheel most likely needs to be trued, that cost like 156 if brouhgt to a shop.

If you bought the bike new, then the LBS you bought it from should be able to true/adjust for you at no charge. Both issues are minor adjustments, you will feel better about the bike when you have them fixed.
