A great tour in Burma
Despite the state of development of the country, there are signs everywhere that things are looking up and optimism is in the air. From our conversations with the locals, it was clear that the improvement of the political situation in the country during the past few years has already resulted in many material gains. International travellers are beginning to visit the country for the first time in large numbers, which will no doubt bring much needed wealth to this beautiful country's many impoverished communities. We were pleased that we could be a part of this wave of change, and encourage everyone to consider visiting the country.

Now that's cool ...
That's really nice. Amazing.
But how did you handle:
a) The traffic which in some countries can be chaotic.
b) Sleeping in a tent by yourself.
With regard to b), I mean no disrespect to the Burmese people, but with such a poor country, the temptation to steal stuff would have been great.

Looks like a great place to tour. Did you speak any Burmese or have a common language? Can you get by with only english? Any book or other references for tour planning?

I'd love to hit Burma some day, preferably soon. Always held an intrigue to me.
