Post you favorite FADE painted frame.
Aloha All,
I have been killing myself in trying to figure what color to paint my frame. I decided on a paint color but the painter did not have it. Second choice was red but just don' feel it. SO, its gonna have to be a fade but having trouble deciding on what 2 colors so,
POST your pics of your favorite fade paint job!!!!!!
*also, can someone post the link to a black/neon yellow fade Bridgestone that I saw somewhere online. I think I saw it on flickr but cannot find it through their search.
MAHALO!

I HOPE your painter has experience shooting fades,....it's NOT easy, by any stretch.
that old klein above is a GREAT example of how to properly fade two colors
I shot so many fades in the seventies I can't count them all,...any way just make sure he knows HOW to fade two colors, and ask to see an example or test panel BEFORE you commit and sign a work order.
I like fading two similar metallic or pearl colors together, or just fade in the pearl coat: if the painter uses an "interference pearl" the pearlescent effect can't be seen until the sun hits it.

so far the sorenson and the veloce are the frontrunners, huh. the sorenson's got a bit more flash, but the veloce's beauty is in its subtlety. i don't even think i noticed it was faded before.

pdxjenn,
that vivalo is nice. that actually was one of my color combos in that same exact fade, bottom to top as opposed to most that i have seen that are left to right. I am surprised to see so many of those liner fades where the paint is down the middle.
fanta510,
sick colors and bike. That front tire has no ****in clearance, love the tight geometry.
Kelin bikes, sick colors as well.
The painter I will be using has done fades before and has done great work. Some of their work is on this thread already. I can't wait to get it in, about 3-4 weeks and I will def be posting pics.
I decided on black to neon yellow. The color combo already exists so I know what it looks like but if someone knows a pic of the bridgestone that has this black to neon yellow please post it

Zombie Carl: I don't know, I really like the contrast of the black v with the yellow on the frame. Just for the sake of being curious though, what specific rims would you suggest?
TDHK: Thanks. I'm really digging how it's all chrome under the paint.
"Hans" has been finished for 5 months now and it's the best bike I've ever had the pleasure of riding.
