Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Post your best bike porn...

My bike porn collection is getting small, and I'm bored. So I task you all with re-filling my collection and entertaining me! Post your best bike porn!

I'll start with this:

I'm a sucker for the vintage stuff, and that bike is just oh so sweet. Really clean, nice lines, great condition. It's not mine, I grabbed the shot from an eBay auction because I liked it so much.

Don't feel obligated to post classics, though. Post whatever bike porn gets you going, if you catch my drift.

Okay the lug work is certainly sweet, but am I the only one who notices that it appears to be built for someone 8' tall?

Me too... like dammit. In the late 80's I rode a Shimano 600 (Biopace, even!) powered Bianchi. Selling that bike was the dumbest thing I've ever done.

What I immediately think of when I see that type of fancy lug work

Old ladies have the needlework, old men the lugwork.

That is *true* bike porn. Cool background, jaw-dropping bike, the whole nine.

Like I said, I made it my desktop wallpaper here at work. Prolly at home, too, once I get there.

I'm a softie for Bianchis. They just "do it" for me.

I almost spit on my computer when I saw those aerolites so here we go in order of suggestions

The Deda one piece
3TTT Ahero
Oval A900
The profile T2s that match that basebar
Hell even the new(same design but without red graphics) vision basebar and aerobar

ANYTHING but those aerolites

Very nice bike though
