Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Well, don't forget this is the internet. It could -still- be that R600 is a joke personage here to entertain us all.
Someone once posted a question asking how the left turn signal switches detect an occupied left turn lane. I posted that the outlined boxes indicate where to be to trigger the light (true) but that it's weight sensitive (not so much true)

Who doesn't think it'd be funny to see a cyclist jumping up and down in the middle of the road on one cussing? It'd be freaking hilarious

WAIT JUST A MINUTE!!

Is it possible that R600 and Euro are the same person? Kinda like the old Mike and Janet Jackson thing... do we actually see them post in the same thread... at the same time? Makes ya think...

Or perhaps R600 is Euro's "Across the Pond" mentally "Handicapable" cousin?

Just spitballing here...

You could be on to something. Anybody here able to run an ISP trace on a poster?

anybody can, this forum allows pics to be posted

procedure:
put pics on your PC
run your own http server
post pic from that server on bikeforum
whenever someone views or replies to a thread with that pic, their IP will show in the log file as well as the time
simply compare times and IP's with the post times on the thread itself

if you wanted to get fancy, simply embed a script to do the same instead of a pic, you can even set it up so your sig shows the viewers IP address !!!

He is real. I've met him. I've bought stuff from him (got a good price too.) I've even seen him riding in Prospect Park, although I was walking with both arms in casts and he dropped me

btw, he was a nice enough guy, but he sure is full of himself in these posts.

If you guys are going to ridicule R600, I think the mods should unleash him so he can get a little payback (in his own mind at least). I don't *know* that he has to stay on his best behaviour to avoid banishment, but that does seem to be the case.

This way, you guys won't be bashing the disadvantaged, and the entertainment value of these R600DuraAce threads will rise to their former glory.

Go get'em, R600!

Was he leashed? I dont remember that part.
OBTW no way he and Euro are the same person, their command of the English language is way to divergent.
