Just got a GT for free and am wondering if its decient to ride
I just got a new GT for free from my cousin who won it and didnt want it. (some school raffle). I was wondering if I can ride it safely? im 5 11 and 190lbs and from what I have read, its for kids 6-9years old. It seems like its easy to ride. I know its not the best bike but anyone who got it for free would ride it. Im not doing anything crazy on it just cruising and some super basic flat land stuff (small bunny hops up curbs, nothing serious). Im mostly using it to go to work cause its easier to bring this on the train than my road bike. By the way its a 09 gt mach one pro.
I threw in some pics to make the thread more appealing.

Welcome to the GT Mach One Owners Club!
1. Top Tube is 19 1/2 inches, for your height Id say 21 would be more comfortable but I just run a long
stem, layback seatpost, and run my bars a little forward on my 03 m1...Im 5.10.
2. https://www.gtbicycles.com/usa/eng/Bi...ach-One-Expert
3. $219 US MSRP
4. HEAVY?! Steel all around...
5. https://bikeway.com/product/gt-mach-one-pro-51626-1.htm <-has better info that gt's own website..
6. free is always the best price.
7. Wicked graphics, nice paint, stip its down, and replace some of that steel...otherwise good roller.

Nice... the 03s were produced when GT was up in the air as a company. They have since settled down in 08 and kind of have their act together. Not like they used to though due to all the ownership changes.
