Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Trek 1200. There are some incredibly beautiful bikes on here - mine looks kind of girl-next-door hot, which I've always liked.

Hi Guys
Just wanted to introduce the world to my new Look 585. Bought the frame from ebay a week or so ago and took the parts off the litespeed I have been riding the last two years. Salient points include:
Look 585 XL 57, feels almost as long as my massive 60cm litespeed.
Zipp 202 wheelset, too ridiculous for words but very very nice going up hill (my favorite)
Mostly record drivetrain (Tho I learned that my bike came with a DuraAce BB, fishy) with Chorus on the brakes.

I just rode it up the marin headlands for its inauguration and MAN it is NICE. I thought I would have a hard time letting the litespeed go but Im not thinking that so much anymore!

An Alfa 147GTA #100/100 - not just any 147, this has th 3.2 V6 squeezed into the engine bay (the last of the Italian built ones, the new V6 are General Motors Australian built)... Also a few modifications such as:
- quad exhaust (replaced the factory cat & installed a Hi-flow Cat)
- fully adjustable coil-overs (height & rebound)
- CF Air-intake system
- 10 mm spacer kit
- Ti Front Strub Bar (to handle the torque steer)
- P Zero Rossos w Nitrogen

SO it goes liek a rocket...

Existence - Looks flash enuff (even if it is a Giant ) And good to see you have followed the photo conventions by including a folding garage door as background

I'll have to keep an eye out for that machine if and when drag my sorry arse up into the hills again.
