Specialites T.A. axix BB bearing removal
I'm going through my spares box and would like to switch bearings from one axix spindle to another, however, the press-fit seems to be extremely tight. What's the best method for getting the bearings off?

Press (NOT hammer) them off making contact to only the inner race. Gentle heating of the bearing, like hairdryer heat, not butane torch heat, may expand the race enough to ease its removal. But in my experience pressed-on bearings are generally only removed for replacement, not swapping for reuse.

I have this bottom bracket with a TA crank, it seems indestructible, I'll guess for some reason you cannot use existing bearings on axle? I agree there is decent risk of damaging the bearings. Why not measure and find a bearing shop and order 2 new ones?
