Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

my wife

doesn't get me anything that I want. I open magazines, circle stuff, and drop huge hints, and always get some dumbcrap, then she wonders why I look bewildered when I open the gift.

i told my gf i wanted a trainer and handed her a catalouge. the next day she said "i was thinking about it and you dont even lift weights very much anymore, i thought you were trying to lose muscle mass - why do you need a trainer?"

i feel your pain.

My wife bought her own bike, after walking out of one shop when all they'd talk to her about was the colors it came in.

She bike commutes

She insists we ride on the weekends

She let me sign her up for Seattle to Portland before she'd finished her first century.

She spends her days teaching English to 7th graders, (There isn't enough money in the world or me to take that on)

She pretty much walks on water.

I'd tell you what a total babe she is, but i don't want to seem shallow.

Oh, she isn't batting an eye over me talking that group buy Kestrel frame, even though my bike is only 8 months old.

She's a keeper. Go with her to the mall, hold her purse while she trys on some clothes. Tell her she's a keeper.
